Access to Justice & Law Reform Commission of Nova Scotia
In 2019, after 28 years in operation, the Law Reform Commission of Nova Scotia re-organized itself as the Access to Justice & Law Reform Institute [the “Institute”]. The Institute continues to act as an independent law reform agency for Nova Scotia, making recommendations for the modernization and reform of law and the improvement of the administration of justice. The Institute also acts as a center of coordination, research, education and action on access to justice and represents Nova Scotia on the National Action Committee on Access to Justice & Civil and Family Matters.
